The museum is home to photographs, documents, mementoes, and items of identification from homes, businesses, organizations, schools, and people of our community. We do not charge an admission fee for the museum and invite you to come and browse our collection of materials.
Limited genealogy research is available to help you discover more about your personal family history.
We keep many volumes of local newspapers at our museum, dating back to the late 1800s. We have been actively working with the Knightstown Public Library to combine our microfilm supplies in order to digitize all of the articles.
Several programs a year are offered to further educate the community on the history of our town. These programs vary on subject, and we design these programs to interest a wide audience.
Old maps and atlases- as well as some books from local authors- are available for purchase at the museum. An annual membership is also available to help support the continuation of our museum and historic efforts.
